When should I start taking a prenatal multivitamin?

Why does your prenatal contain folinic acid? How is this different from folic acid?

I have issues with reflux/burping, so I did notice I do get fishy burps sometimes. I just experiment with taking it at different stages of my meal and it’s bearable. it’s definitely worth it.
